”Water and Environmental Technology Business Matching Seminar” and “Networking Café” were held in Jakarta.
“Water/Environmental Technology Business Matching Seminar” was held in Jakarta on September 5, 2018, focusing on the water treatment field, following the seminar held in 2018.
With the cooperation of the “Indonesian Food and Beverage Association (GAPMMI)”, which we has continued to interact with, we solicited participation from local companies and groups that are member companies, with 20 people from Indonesia and 18 people (7 companies) from Japan.
At the seminar, Mr. Adhi Lukman, chairman of GAPMMI, gave presentation on overview of Indonesia’s food and beverage industry, industry-wide issues including water treatment-related issues, and then introduced technology from Japanese companies. After that, we had a business meeting.
On September 4, a local networking event was held as a “networking café”, and 32 people including member companies, locally stationed companies and related organizations gathered. Mr. Kazuhisa Matsui, Team E-Kansai Indonesia Coordinator and Representative of Matsui Glocal G.K., gave a lecture entitled “The Whereabouts of the 2019 Presidential Election and Indonesian Economy”.
On September 6, we visited a wastewater treatment facility at a Japanese food factory in West Karawang.
