Environmental Business Delegation to Thailand, 2012

A mission led by Mr. Furukawa, Chairman of Team E-Kansai, was dispatched to the following events.

1.   Six of our member companies participated in the exhibition of JETRO’s Japan Pavilion at “ETNTECH POLLUTEC ASIA 2012″ and jointly held a seminar titled “Low Emission Society” with the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and JETRO Bangkok as part of the exhibition according to the Memorandum of Understanding. (Among the 482 business negotiations made during the exhibition, 78 cases are currently continuing.)

2.   A memorandum of cooperation was concluded between the Department of Industrial Works of the Ministry of Industry (DIW), the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT),Amata Corporation PCL, the Kansai Bureau of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry(METI-Kansai), and Team E-Kansai, regarding further cooperation on development of an Eco-Conscious Industrial Estate model in the Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate.
