The 3rd study session on drainage water measures was held. ~ “Comprehensive management plan of waste in Hanoi City”

On November 16 (Wed), Team E-Kansai held the 3^rd study session on the measures against drainage water to its regular members.

 

Mr. Mushtaq Memon, the Programme Officer of International Environmental Technology Center, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP-IETC) discoursed “Comprehensive management plan of waste in Hanoi City, Vietnam” as a main lecturer, explaining Hanoi as a case study on various problems and issues to be solved in relation to the waste which rapidly-growing major cities in Asia are facing.

 

After that, Mr. Nishizaki, a technology coordinator of Team E-Kansai, presented “Report on field research in Myanmar”, explaining the current situation of local sewage treatment and the possibility of future efforts, followed by questions and answers as well as discussions.
