Team E-Kansai set up a booth at a side event of the international conference called “ASEAN Economic Minister (AEM)”.

On April 8, 2017, “ASEAN Economic Minister (AEM) – METI consultation” was held at Imperial Hotel Osaka in Japan. Accordingly, Team E-Kansai opened a booth at the exhibition of technologies of companies and organizations held at the foyer of the hotel, for the purpose of appeal of the state-of-the-art technologies of Japanese companies. This exhibition was held as a part of a series of the events as “ASEAN Economic Ministers Roadshow” from April 6 to 8, 2017, where the economic ministers of 10 member countries of ASEAN and the Secretary-General of ASEAN were invited to Japan, visiting local companies in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Wakayama, etc., in addition to the AEM. 

On the day, in the interval between a joint press conference and the AEM, the ministers of Brunei, Indonesia, Laos and Singapore visited the booth and expressed their interest in the Japanese excellent environmental technologies, receiving explanations on the achievements, purpose and activities of Team E-Kansai, as well as bringing back leaflets on the introduction of Team E-Kansai, or pamphlets where the profiles of the member companies and the technologies are specified, all of which provided us with a precious opportunity for promotion of the environmental technologies of Japanese companies to such economic ministers of ASEAN.
