Environmental and Energy-Saving Business Delegation to Nanhai District, Foshan, Guandong 2013

Based on the cooperation document signed in 2011 between the Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI-Kansai) and the People’s Government of Nanhai District, a delegation of seven environment-related businesses was dispatched to Nanhai, Foshan, Guangdong, China
1. A courtesy call was paid to the District Mayor, a meeting was held with government officials and the delegation member companies made presentations in the technical seminars. As well as confirming new bilateral cooperation in environmental business exchange between the two districts.
2. There were also site visits and business negotiations held based on groups pre-organized by the coordinator of Team E-Kansai. Chinese and Japanese businesses signed five Memorandums of Understanding, which confirmed continued consensus toward concluding contracts. The Nanhai District Municipal Government of Foshan and METI-Kansai adopted a joint declaration for enhanced business cooperation in the areas of the environment and energy conservation.
