Environmental and Energy-Saving Business Delegation to Thailand, 2010

1. MoU to facilitate business cooperation with the Federation of Thai Industry (FTI)
The Forum signed an MoU, which stipulates mutual cooperation such as information exchange, seminar organizing, and human resource development with the FTI to facilitate business cooperation in the field of environment and energy-saving.

2. Agreement on cooperation programs to execute feasibility studies for establishing the “Environment-Conscious Industrial Estate” pilot model in the Amata-Nakorn Industrial Estate
Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Kansai Bureau, agrees on cooperation programs between the Department of Industrial Works in the Ministry of Industry and Amata Corporation Public Limited, which undertake the administration of the Amata-Nakorn Industrial Estate, to execute feasibility studies for establishing the “Environment-Conscious Industrial Estate” pilot model in the industrial estate.

3. Seminar and workshop
We organized a seminar and workshop to introduce activities for the development plan of Eco-town and various activities for low carbon society in Japan and Thailand, which was attended by around 130 participants from several local companies in Thailand.

4. ENTECH POLLUTEC ASIA 2010 exhibition and business matching
We exhibited “Japan-booth,” consisting of 12 booths in collaboration with Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), and organized business matching with prospective customers. Ten member companies from Team E-Kansai exhibited their products and technologies in the field of environment and energy-conservation.
