Environmental Business Delegation to Thailand, 2013
Team E-Kansai officials including the Chairman Mr. Furukawa and Vice Chairman Mr. Tanaka visited Thailand.
1. Five member companies exhibited in the JETRO Japan Pavilion at ENTECH POLLUTECH ASIA2013(June 5 to 8; 288 business negotiations, 9 potential agreements). In addition, in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding, a joint seminar was held with the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and JETRO Bangkok during the expo to promote energy conservation, and two member companies gave presentations for an audience of approximately 90 companies.
2. A meeting was held with the Permanent Secretary of Thai Ministry of Industry and public and private officials from Japan and Thailand to discuss the Eco-conscious Industrial Estate Model Project in Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate. The project is led by the Team E-Kansai One Stop Service Working Team (OSS WT). During the meeting, the future direction of the project was confirmed and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed regarding the trial of One Stop Service.
