“Networking Cafe in Shanghai” was held.

Team E-Kansai held “Networking Cafe in Shanghai” in Shanghai City, China on November 24, 2016, in order to promote mutual exchanges with Japanese companies and public institutions operating in Shanghai in environmental and energy-saving areas.

 

In the Part 1 for provision of topics, Mizuho Information & Research Institute, Inc. and Mizuho Bank, Ltd. delivered a lecture titled “The latest trend of environmental problems and related markets for measures in China”. In this lecture, considering the environmental issues and policies in China from a historical point of view, they presented the possibility of remarkable expansion of business opportunities in environmental area in China which tries to significantly shift its policies from the conventional “principles to expand production and prioritize economic growth” to the “establishment of well-balanced society”.

 

Furthermore, JETRO Shanghai gave a lecture not listed in the original program, gaining popularity among participants due to easy-to-understand information including introduction of activities of Shanghai Office of Osaka Prefecture. In the Part 2 for business networking event (social gathering), lively exchanges of views were conducted.
