Team E-Kansai exhibited at “VIETWATER 2016”.

Team E-Kansai set up an exhibition booth at “VIETWATER 2016” held in Ho Chi Minh City on November 9 through 11, 2016, jointly with the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Department of Commerce, Industry, Tourism and Labor of Shiga Prefecture and the executive office of Biwako Environmental Business Exhibition Executive Committee, in order to support business promotion in Vietnam for Japanese companies related to environmental and energy-saving business.

 The materials to introduce technologies and products of exhibiting companies as well as the exhibit titled “Efforts in the water system of the Lake Biwa and the Yodo River” were displayed at the booth equipped with a monitor and microphones in front. The member companies which had applied for the exhibition in advance gave demonstrations and introduced their technologies or products to visitors.

 On November 9 and 10, a cumulative total of 14 companies and institutions made their presentations at the meeting room in the exhibition hall, having a good opportunity to appeal their products or technologies to the visitors.

Furthermore, at the “Technical Seminar”, an official event of the exhibition, the executive office of Team E-Kansai made a presentation titled “Overview of water treatment technologies”, attracting a lot of audience.

In connection with the opening of VIETWATER 2016, Team E-Kansai held “Networking Cafe in Ho Chi Minh”, and more than 40 persons from exhibiting companies, companies with observational purpose, Japanese companies and institutions based in Vietnam participated in it.

In the Part of seminar, Ho Chi Minh Branch of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation explained the latest situations on economy and investment, etc. in Vietnam, with detailed data.

In the Part of social gathering, active exchanges of opinions or information were conducted among participant companies.
